Everton are said to be willing to offer Arsenal forward Theo Walcott a role up-front for them?
Theo Walcott has told the Daily Mail that he could have a new role to play at Arsenal next season.
Walcott has apparently sat down with Arsene Wenger to discuss his future at the Emirates Stadium.
And the new plan is for Walcott to be tested out in a new position with the Gunners.

He said: “I’ve spoken to the manager. Maybe I will change my role in this formation slightly, we’ll see how it goes, if it works.
“I can’t really say what the role is. Playing right wing back? No, I can’t really say.”
Whether a change of role would appeal to Walcott remains to be seen, as the Arsenal forward has always previously suggested that he believes he is a number nine.
And with Everton in the race for his signature, according to the Daily Mirror, they may hold an advantage.
Everton would be able to promise Walcott regular game time in his more familiar position, if he made the move to Goodison Park.
Everton need to find a way to replace the goals of Romelu Lukaku, and Walcott may help them do just that, if he was to arrive on Merseyside.
Walcott netted 19 goals for Arsenal last term, and would add pace and guile to Everton’s front line.
