Nottingham Forest returned to winning ways at the weekend. Forest got the better of Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 at home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
After a goalless first half, Zach Clough put the Reds in the lead on the hour mark. Ben Osborn doubled the advantage for the home team on 89 minutes, and Clough wrapped up the points in the eighth minute of injury time.
It was quite a surprising result, as Brighton have one of the best teams in the Championship and are one of the top contenders for the automatic promotion places.
England international cricketer Stuart Broad was following the match at the City Ground, and the Forest fan was pleased with the final result.
Forest will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Brentford at the City Ground in the Championship.
The result against Brighton will have given the Reds a lot of confidence, and the team will fancy their chances of picking up all three points from the encounter against the Bees.
There is a very good chance that at the end of this evening’s match, Broad will be celebrating yet another Forest win.
