Glenn Middleton hasn’t made a squad for Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers since February.

Rangers winger Ryan Kent has been slapped with a two-match retrospective ban.
The 22-year-old pushed Celtic captain Scott Brown in the face during Sunday’s fiery Old Firm at Parkhead.
Referee Bobby Madden missed the incident in real time and the Rangers star has now been charged with violent conduct.
The Gers will appeal the decision [The Scottish Sun], meaning he is eligible to face Hearts tonight, but they must prepare for the prospect of losing Kent for the two games.
Suddenly Steven Gerrard has a void on the left-hand side of attack and could he go back to Glenn Middleton during Kent’s absence?
The 19-year-old was brilliant for the light Blues during the first half of the season, but he has played less than an hour of football since January.
It remains to be seen exactly why Middleton – who hasn’t made a match-day squad since February 16 – has fallen out of favour completely, but Kent’s absence means that Gerrard could and probably should recall him.
Middleton remains a massive talent and with Kent unlikely to be staying at Ibrox long term, why not start playing someone who will be there next season?
