Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that Raphinha is in with a chance of starting on Monday.
Leeds are set to take on Leicester City in their next outing, and it seems that Raphina could make his full debut in the contest.
The Brazilian has made just two substitute appearance for the Whites so far.
And when asked whether Raphina was ready to start, Bielsa would not rule it out as a possibility.
“I haven’t defined an XI for Monday, so all 22 players could start and have a possibility to start on Monday,” he said.
Raphina’s second showing in a Leeds shirt was very encouraging, as he impressed off the bench in a brief cameo against Aston Villa.
The winger also caught the eye in a recent under-23’s match against Norwich City.
Leeds named a strong line-up for the contest, and Raphina managed to get on the scoresheet in a 2-0 victory.
If Raphina does start he could take Helder Costa’s place in Leeds’ starting line-up.
