Celtic have Patrick Roberts and Charly Musonda on loan until the end of the season, as things stand.
Celtic selling Moussa Dembele may allow them to finance permanent deals for both Patrick Roberts and Charly Musonda this summer.
Celtic want big money for the French forward, who seems fairly likely to move on in the summer.
The Bhoys are set to receive a sizeable sum for Dembele, and that may allow them to go out and purchase Musonda and Roberts.
Manchester City are looking for around £15 million for Roberts, according to the Daily Star, and Chelsea could also be willing to listen to offers for Musonda.
Musonda has barely featured at Stamford Bridge since signing, so may feel that his development would be best off elsewhere.
And if Celtic did lose Dembele, but keep Roberts and Musonda that could be seen as a positive move for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Roberts has proven his class during his two-year stint with Celtic, and looks to have a very bright future.
Musonda has also caught the eye in the initial stages of his time at Parkhead.
The Belgian came off the substitutes’ bench for Celtic in the Europa League, and he helped set up a the winning goal against Zenit. St Petersburg with a wonderful piece of skill.
And if Dembele’s departure allowed Celtic to bring the two loanees in on permanent deals, then they would actually be taking a step forward, by selling their star striker.
