Joelinton had one of the best games of his Newcastle career on Saturday. And a new stat sheds more light on how the Brazilian performed so well.

The Magpies posted on their official Twitter account a heatmap from the attacker against Brentford. With the image showing that the striker was everywhere and anywhere against the Bees on the weekend.

Joelinton scored a crucial goal and was overall excellent down the flank for Newcastle as they drew 3-3 with Brentford in Eddie Howe’s first game as manager of the game.

Indeed, it was a brilliant encounter at St. James Park. And Joelinton was key to Newcastle claiming a point against a Premier League rival. With many fans lauding the striker after the match.

The attacker started out on the right of a three-man attack as Howe switcher Newcastle’s shape to a 3-4-3. And whilst some defensive issues still need to be addressed, Joelinton and others such as Allan Saint-Maximin were in brilliant form on Saturday.

And on social media, Newcastle fans are in awe and shock over how much ground Joelinton covered on Saturday. With the forward dominating the right side of the pitch.
