The Celtic teenager is years away from being a first-team regular but that does not mean he should not get a chance this season.

Celtic have a number of exciting young players coming through the ranks right now but one of the best is 14-year-old Karamoko Dembele.
Given the player’s age, it would be foolish to pile too push pressure on him too soon, but that does not mean he could not be given a first-team chance when the pressure is off the Bhoys.
After all, if Celtic continue at this pace they will wrap up the Scottish Premiership title in no time, leaving plenty of matches for Brendan Rodgers to try new things.
The younger of Celtic’s two Dembeles, Karamoko generated attention when he came off the bench for the Bhoys’ under-20 side aged just 13.
Since then, he has been allowed to develop his game relatively quietly and there is no suggestion he should be fast-tracked into Celtic’s senior side, more that he should be given some time from the bench when the club’s league matches become little more than run-outs, for Rodgers’ men at least.

With talk that the great and the good of English football are already sniffing around the youngster, Rodgers should show him his future lies at Celtic Park, slowly introducing him to the pressure of playing at the top level but only when that pressures is limited.
Over the next few years, Dembele could slowly build up his game time, enabling him to be familiar with the heady feeling of turning out at Celtic Park before he is required to add consistency to his undoubted quality.
