Could Robby McCrorie benefit at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers if Wes Foderingham leaves?
According to The Scottish Sun, Wes Foderingham must either leave Rangers this summer or accept being Steven Gerrard’s third-choice goalkeeper.
The 27-year-old has been a first-team regular for Rangers since 2015 but the addition of Allan McGregor, coupled with Jak Alnwick’s presence, has seemingly seen Foderingham slip down the pecking order.

The former Swindon Town stopper should certainly consider leaving Ibrox this summer, and that could open the door for Robby McCrorie to challenge Alnwick for the number two shirt next term.
The 20-year-old twin brother to Rangers star Ross is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Scottish giants but with Foderingham potentially out of the picture soon, Gerrard could promote the youngster to being his third-choice option between the sticks.
McCrorie spent last season on loan at Berwick but it will be interesting to see if Gerrard retains his services for the 2018-19 campaign and whether the experience with the Blues’ senior squad can help him progress.
If he is as hungry and as talented as his brother then he can stake a serious claim as McGregor’s understudy over Alnwick.
