And though the January transfer window is barely a speck on the horizon right now, it appears that the struggling duo are already attempting to identify targets who could fire them out of the relegation zone.
The Mail reports that Swansea and Palace, as well as Chelsea and Celtic, are both running the rule over Partizan Belgrade’s journeyman striker Richmond Boakye on the back of a stunning 2017 which has seen him score the same amount of goals as Cristiano Ronaldo for club and country.

Boakye’s winner in the 1-0 Europa League win away at Cologne prior to the international break took him on to 30 goals since the turn of the year, including 27 in 36 games in all competitions for Partizan and another couple for Ghana.
Swansea and Palace, the two lowest scorers in the Premier League after seven games could only dream of a striker with such a record.
Chelsea loanee Tammy Abraham is yet to recapture the form that saw him score prolifically for Bristol City in the Championship while Wilfried Bony, who returned to South Wales after an ill-fated move to Manchester City this summer, looks a shadow of the striker who boasted a one-in-two ratio during his first spell at the Liberty.
And we probably don’t need to remind you that Premier League basement boys Crystal Palace have not scored a single top flight goal all season. No team in the history of the competition has been forced to wait so long at the start of a campaign to hit the back of the net.
It seems as if both clubs have identified Boakye, rated at £10 million by Partizan according to GhanaSoccerNet, as the man who could come to their rescue.
