Newcastle United are reportedly keen on the services of striker Joelinton, who currently plays for the same club Liverpool’s Roberto Firminio represented earlier on his career.

Despite the departure of Rafa Benitez from Tyneside, Newcastle United are still seemingly looking to push forward for summer transfers which includes Hoffenheim forward Joelinton.
It is a team that will be well-known to one section of English fans because it’s where Liverpool purchased Roberto Firmino from during the summer of 2015.
Now, another English club in managerless Newcastle could be dipping into Hoffenheim’s squad for their next best talent as they try to prepare for the new Premier League campaign.
The Daily Mirror have claimed Newcastle could yet decide to push for Joelinton’s signing despite Benitez not being keen on his signature when he was a part of the club.
If Newcastle were to add the 22-year-old Brazilian to their ranks then they would be purchasing a player of real quality and serious promise for the future.

Like Firmino has proven at Liverpool for a number of years now, Joelinton is a workaholic up front and he likes to bring those around him into the game.
Whether that be through his ability to play and find passes in and around the final third, or simply put, hold up the ball and bring others around him into play – Joelinton can be a real threat away from putting the ball into the back of the net.
Firmino has gone on to become a firm fan favourite at Liverpool and there is a reason he has a Champions League medal to his name.
His Brazilian counterpart will have to do a lot to match his recent rise, but his 11 goals and nine assists in all competitions [transfermarkt] last season is proof that he is getting off to a great start.
