Fenerbahce reportedly want to sign Rangers captain James Tavernier.

Fenerbahce reportedly want to sign Rangers captain James Tavernier in the January transfer window as director Damien Comolli looks to sign a right-back – but the Gers could use Fener’s interest to their advantage.
Turkish outlet Fotospor claim Fener are interested in signing a right-back next month and have made 27-year-old Tavernier their main target as the Gers captain continues to shine from the right side of the defence.
He has scored nine goals and created 14 more in assists, with his exceptional record from the penalty spot and his eye-catching crossing making him one of Rangers most important players.
It has seen Fener become interested in the former Newcastle United defender, with the Turkish side looking to bolster their side after a dismal start to the 2018-19 campaign which leaves them in second bottom in the SuperLig.
Tavernier signed a new contract at Ibrox to keep him with the Gers until the summer of 2022, but Rangers may be willing to do business with Fener if the Turkish side throw in a player that has attracted interest from Rangers in recent history.
Centre-back Martin Skrtel has been reportedly eyed by Rangers since Steven Gerrard took over at Ibrox, with the Liverpool legend playing alongside Slovenian Skrtel during his time at Liverpool.

Rangers failed to land the 102-time international in the summer, but could remain interested in his services with the January transfer window less than a week away.
Turkish outlet CNN claimed in November that Rangers were still interested, but Skrtel’s agent Karol Csonto has repeatedly stated that the Light Blues would not be able to afford Skrtel. The Daily Record claim Fener wanted £5million.
But with Fener keen on Tavernier, Rangers could request to include Skrtel in a deal to finally land their man.
