Could Steven Gerrard give Jon Flanagan a Rangers recall?

Rangers have a selection dilemma at left-back this week.
Borna Barisic is battling an injury suffered on international duty, while Andy Halliday is suspended.
This leaves Steven Gerrard stuck for options.
He has shown little willingness to involve Lee Wallace this season, raising the possibility of a rare appearance for Jon Flanagan.
Signed as a free agent in the summer, Flanagan has been a disappointment.

A poor loan spell at Bolton last season suggested it could be a risky move, but Steven Gerrard took a gamble on his ex-teammate.
Capable of playing at left-back or right-back, Flanagan has not impressed for Rangers when given the opportunity.
His last game came back in January against lower league Cowdenbeath.
Now this week against Hearts, perhaps he will get one last chance to show what he is capable of.
