The Frenchman has struggled to justify his hefty price-tag at Tottenham Hotspur, but West Bromwich Albion should consider making a move for him.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis is renowned for being a hard taskmaster, with his no-nonsense approach to man-management.
And with Moussa Sissoko’s short-lived Spurs career already seemingly close to an end, the West Brom boss should consider bringing him to the Hawthorns.
The 27-year-old is undoubtedly a major talent, but has really struggled to establish himself during his time at Tottenham. It could be argued, however, that he has never really been give an opportunity with the Lilywhites, and if presented with the chance to play regularly for the Baggies, he could rediscover the form that made him such hot property whilst at Newcastle United.

The Spurs midfielder is immensely powerful, and possesses high stamina levels. He would have to improve his work-rate, however, if he played under Pulis at West Brom, that much is for certain.
Sissoko would bring an added level of power and aggression to the Baggies’ engine room, and the manner in which he can carry the ball from defence to attack would surely help improve upon the fluidity of West Brom’s play.
Another benefit of binging the Tottenham midfielder to the Hawthorns would be his height and burly frame – which would be a useful asset, considering how much emphasis Pulis places on set-pieces.
One potential concern for the West Brom boss will be the question marks raised over Sissoko’s dedication in training. Mauricio Pochettino highlighted how far behind the Frenchman was with regards to his commitment in November 2016, when he responded to a question asking why he chose to omit the 27-year-old from his squad, as quoted by the Sun:
“It is about you being better and that you show on the training ground that you are better than another team-mate and that you deserve to be involved or not.”
If Pulis went ahead and brought Sissoko to the club though, and managed to find a way of extracting the best out of the dynamic midfielder, whilst being a risky addition, it could turn out to be a real coup for the Black Country outfit.
