A reported target for Everton and Watford this summer, Grosicki was brought to Hull by Silva initially.

Everton’s pursuit of Watford manager Marco Silva is not over yet, it seems. Silva, who left Hull City for Watford six months ago, has refused to confirm his immediate future lies at Vicarage Road.

The Portuguese is reported to be Everton’s top target to succeed Ronald Koeman, and the Toffees’ bidding is said to have reached £10 million.

It is unlikely that Everton would still be pursuing Silva had they not been given encouragement to do so, and it would be little surprise, therefore, were he to rock up at Goodison Park in the near future.

But with Silva might a Hull City player come? The former Tigers boss was the man who brought Kamil Grosicki to English football in January, and wanted him at Watford this summer, according to the Mirror, with a £7.7 million fee mooted.

Everton were also keen, according to that very same report, but Grosicki remained at the KC Stadium, where he is proving one of the few silver linings of a dismal campaign in which Hull find themselves 20th in the Championship.

In 16 appearances, the Poland international has scored five goals and created another four for Leonid Slutsky’s team, and would arguably improve an Everton side whose wingers have flattered to deceive this season.

Whatever his destination, Silva would surely be keen to have Grosicki on board again come January. And in Hull’s current state, they’d be in no position to offer much resistance.

Should Silva bring Grosicki to Everton if appointed?
