Leeds United have been linked with Portsmouth’s Jamal Lowe.
Confirmed by the club’s official website, Portsmouth have completed the signing Ipswich Town forward Ellis Harrison – a deal which could be of interest to Championship club Leeds United.
The East Anglian Daily Times says Harrison cost Ipswich £750,000 12 months ago as he moved to Portman Road, but he struggled to make an impact in the Championship and has now opted to join League One rivals Portsmouth.
Portsmouth could have moved for Harrison as they look to bolster their striker options amid heavy speculation over the future of Lowe, who has been linked with a Championship move.
According to the Daily Star, Leeds, West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough are keen on the player who impressed with 15 League One goals last season.
London News Online claim Pompey want £3 million for their prized attacking talent, a deal which Leeds could be prepared to make if they end up selling attacking winger Jack Clarke this summer.
Aside from scoring 15 League One goals, Lowe also clocked up nine assists for Portsmouth last term. The 24-year-old is capable of playing out wide or through the middle and could be a good asset for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Former Wales U21 international Harrison, meanwhile, has a decent record in League One. During two years at Bristol Rovers, he netted an impressive 20 goals. However, he found the step up to the Championship tough as he managed just one strike with the Tractor Boys last term.
