Everton are said to be considering appointing Paolo Fonseca to takeover from Sam Allardyce.

According to O Jogo, Farhad Moshiri wants Paulo Fonseca to become Everton’s next manager – and if he does convince the Portuguese boss to move from Shakhtar Donetsk it could put the Toffees at the front of the queue to sign Bernard.
Bernard’s contract at Shakhtar expires in the summer, and it is looking increasingly likely that the Brazilian international could move on.
If the diminutive playmaker does choose to leave Shakhtar he is sure to attract attention from across Europe.

Bernard possesses a wonderful amount of skill and his passing ability rivals the best creators’ across world football.
But with Fonseca in charge, Everton may just have a chance of landing the attacking midfielder on a free transfer.
O Jogo has recently suggested that Fonseca will snub Shakhtar’s offer to stay, with a move to England appealing.

And if he could bring Bernard with him to Everton that would be a wonderful way to start life at Goodison Park.
The Toffees have lacked creativity all season, but bringing in Bernard would provide fresh energy to their attack.
And the potential signing of Bernard is yet another reason why Fonseca’s appointment at Everton should appeal to Toffees’ fans.
