West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is already without Andy Carroll and could now be without Javier Hernandez for Brighton.
West Ham are 15th in the table with just two wins from their opening eight games putting Slaven Bilic’s future in doubt.
The Hammers entertain Chris Hughton’s Seagulls at the London Stadium in the Friday night game.
Defender Winston Reid has already billed the match as a “must win” and three points would push the East Londoners above Brighton and into mid table a quarter of the way through the season.
Bilic will be without Carroll for the match after his sending off against Burnley last time out.
That was welcomed by some supporters who felt it would force Bilic to finally play star name Hernandez in his favoured position up front having been shunted out wide since signing in the summer.
But well placed West Ham fans’ website Claret and Hugh claims the Mexican striker pulled up in training with a suspected hamstring injury and is a major doubt for the game.
That leaves Bilic with Diafra Sakho as his only available senior striker.
So could that mean young striker Toni Martinez will finally get his big first team chance.

The Spaniard has impressed fans and coaches alike since being snapped up from Valencia last season.
And after scoring a hugely impressive 23 goals in 26 games for the club’s Under 23s – including a hat-trick against Manchester United last time out – Martinez looks ready for a first team chance.
After all what has Bilic got to lose given the dearth of striking talent available to him for the game.
