Rangers loanee Michael O’Halloran could be brought back to Ibrox in January.

Rangers attacker Michael O’Halloran could move back to Ibrox at the end of his St. Johnstone loan in January according to Saints boss Tommy Wright, but could that spell the end of another Gers attacker?
St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has told the Glasgow Evening Times that Rangers have informed their Scottish Premiership rivals that they want to keep the 26-year-old at Ibrox, when his loan ends on January 1.
Wright also claimed that he wants to keep the former Bolton Wanderers attacker at McDiarmid Park, after scoring five goals in 13 Scottish Premiership appearances while on loan this season.

Bringing him back to Glasgow must be a priority of caretaker manager Graeme Murty’s, as the Gers look for inspiration to keep themselves in a potential title race in Scotland’s top tier.
Adding him to the Rangers squad will surely see Murty give him a chance to shine, especially after veteran Kenny Miller suffered a ruptured hamstring, but does it all but end Niko Kranjcar’s Ibrox spell?
The Croatia international has failed to make an impact with the Light Blues since being signed by former manager Mark Warburton in the summer of 2016 with injuries impacting his playing time.

Now in the final six months of his Rangers contract, the versatile playmaker is only on the fringes of the Rangers squad and the addition of O’Halloran will surely push him down the pecking order even further.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth ace has managed just five Scottish Premiership appearances this season and O’Halloran’s presence in the squad will see him fail to prove why he deserves an extension.
