The Stoke City striker would be a great addition to the Wolverhampton Wanderers squad this summer.
Nuno during his time in charge of Porto
Wolves endured a bitterly disappointing 2016/17 Championship campaign, but their fans would have been ultimately happy with they side’s survival in the end.
Now the hard work really starts for new manager Nuno Espírito Santo, as the Portuguese looks to build a squad capable of making a decent challenge for promotion next term.
One area where the former Porto boss will have to strengthen in particular is the forward department, and with this in mind, and interesting option for Wolves could be Stoke City striker Peter Crouch.

The 6ft 7in frontman would offer the Black Country outfit something totally different to what they currently have, and his ability in the air, combined with his impressive technical skills could see him flourish in the Championship.
Wolves will certainly need to improve on their goal output next term, if they harbour genuine ambitions of forcing their way inside the top six, and whilst the 36-year-old Stoke man is not the most prolific of strikers, the manner in which he brings others into play would definitely help create more goalscoring opportunities for Wolves.

Crouch is under contract with the Potters for another year, so Wolves would still have to pay some kind of transfer fee to bing him to the Molineux this summer.
Another potential stumbling block could be in convincing him to swap the Premier League for the Championship, although the guarantee of first-team football could help swing the scale in Wolves’ favour.
