Several clubs have been put on alert by the news that Jack Wilshere could be ready to leave Arsenal this summer with the midfielder unwilling to take a 25 percent pay cut – according to the Sun.
Wilshere is out of contract at the end of this season and despite currently earning £120,000-a-week at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners are only willing to offer the 26-year-old £90,000-a-week to sign a new deal.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes quickly installed Newcastle United and West Ham United as the two favourites to sign the England international, priced at 7/4 and 2/1 respectively.
Yet could Juventus be getting ready to trump all the Premier League sides interested by tempting Wilshere to leave his home country and move to Italy?
CalcioMercato reports that the midfield ace is indeed on their radar, with Juve always interested in signing talented players on a free transfer.
They are expected to complete a similar deal to bring in Emre Can from Liverpool this summer, but would still be open to signing Wilshere as well and the chance to join the reigning Serie A champions could prove to be an appealing one to the Englishman too.
