This is a player who only turned 32 in January. He still has a lot left in the tank, evident by his performances under Steve Clarke at Rugby Park.
For a while now he has looked like a Celtic flop, despite joining on a Bosman, but Lennon has the knowledge and man-management to get the best out of him – if he is named as Rodgers’s long-term successor.
