Newcastle United were linked with the Chelsea forward over the early part of the transfer window.
With Newcastle United searching the Premier League for loans, according to the Chronicle, Michy Batshuayi could yet come back on to Rafael Benitez’s radar.
Newcastle were linked with Batshuayi in the early part of the transfer window by the Chronicle, but things have gone quiet on that front more recently.
The Magpies seemed to draw up other targets, with Batshuayi looking set to stay at Chelsea.

However, with Chelsea now bringing in Alvaro Morata and Fernando Llorente linked, according to the Daily Star, it could be that Batshuayi is made available again.
The Belgian international looks only set to play a back-up role over the upcoming campaign at Stamford Bridge, and whether that will keep him satisfied remains to be seen.
Newcastle may now believe that they have a chance to convince Batshuayi to move to St. James’ Park on loan.
And if Batshuayi does make the switch to Newcastle, then it will have been well worth the wait for Benitez’s side.
