West Ham United have been interested in signing the striker previously, according to reports.

Chelsea could do West Ham a big favour this month.
According to Spanish publication AS, Alvaro Morata’s expected arrival at Atletico Madrid will bring an end to Nikola Kalinić’s time at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, clearing the path for the Hammers to bring the Croatian to east London.
The 31-year-old is vastly experienced in playing at the very highest level, having spent time with AC Milan, Fiorentina and now Atleti.
The 41-capped Croatia international has scored 157 goals for club and country, and standing at just under 6ft 2in tall, he is an exceptionally gifted target man.
Kalinić would act as a fantastic focal point for West Ham to build their attacking play through, and with wingers like Felipe Anderson and Robert Snodgrass, he would undoubtedly be provided with excellent service at the London Stadium.
The Hammers have been previously interested in signing the 31-year-old too.

According to Spanish media outlet El Desmarque, the east London outfit were closely tracking Kalinić in the summer, but a move obviously failed to materialise.
The experienced hitman would undoubtedly be a welcome addition for West Ham, and wouldn’t it be a strange turn of events if Chelsea, one of their fiercest rivals, helped them out in their search for a new striker.
