As Marouane Fellaini reveals he could leave Manchester United should West Ham target him instead of Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi?
Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini heads the ball during the UEFA Champions League Group A football match against FC Basel.
The future of Marouane Fellaini as a Manchester United player is in doubt after admitting he does not know whether he will sign a new contract at the club or not.
“Man United made me a contract proposal and I think they will make an another one,” Fellaini told Belgian publication HUMO. “I don’t know yet if I’ll accept it – we will see.”

The midfielder’s current deal expires at the end of this season and is therefore free to start negotiations with foreign sides in the January transfer window.
Yet should other Premier League teams be keeping a closer eye on the situation – namely West Ham United?
According to the Sun the Hammers are considering competing with Arsenal and Everton for the signing of Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi, while William Carvalho of Sporting has been a target since the summer – as outlined by the Daily Mail.

However, neither player will come cheap and while Fellaini will probably have high wage demands, the actual fee for the 30-year-old is likely to be minimal because of his contract situation.
Also, the Belgium international has huge amounts of experience in the top flight of English football, something which N’Zonzi has much less of from his time with Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City and which Carvalho has none at all.
