Ezgjan Alioski won’t play for Leeds United again this season.

Leeds United announced on Tuesday that Ezgjan Alioski will miss the rest of the season.
The Macedonia international suffered a knee injury in Monday’s 2-0 defeat by Brentford at Griffin Park and will now undergo surgery.
With Barry Douglas also set to miss the next few months, Alioski, playing at left-back, was a huge player for Marcelo Bielsa and the Leeds boss now has a big decision to make.
Bielsa has a couple of makeshift options in the form of Gaetano Berardi and Stuart Dallas, but could the veteran Argentine turn to Leif Davis instead?
The 19-year-old, who joined the Elland Road side last July, hasn’t kicked a ball for United since February, but Davis is a player who Bielsa likes, having given him his full Championship debut in the win at Aston Villa back in December.
Alioski’s emergence as a left-back has rendered him surplus to requirements in recent months, but Davis could suddenly become a very big player for the Whites, who will probably need to win the playoffs if they are to win Premier League promotion.
Yes, he is raw and inexperienced, but Bielsa has demonstrated that he trusts him in the past and it’ll be fascinating to see whether the Leeds boss recalls him.
