The Reading forward has questioned Leeds United’s lack of alternative goal-scoring options.

In recent comments published by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Reading striker Yann Kermorgant has hinted that Saturday’s opponents Leeds United are a one-man team.
“Chris Wood has scored nearly all of Leeds’ goals this season,” the Frenchman said. “If he gets injured, they have no Plan B.
“As a striker, I always want more goals but as long as we get a result, I am happy.”
The comments have been widely reported as Leeds gear up to take on their fellow promotion chasers on Saturday, so could the Whites use Kermorgant’s comments against him?
There is no doubt Wood has been the go-to guy for goals at Elland Road this season, but whether or not the New Zealand international overcomes a minor injury and starts against the Royals, his Leeds teammates should take Kermorgant’s comments and use them as motivation.
Leeds have other players who are more than capable of scoring goals, the problem is they have misfired more often than not.
If it takes an opponent calling them out on that to fire them on, so be it, and if Leeds’ other creative players have any passion they will want to prove that there most certainly is a Plan B as Garry Monk’s side push on for promotion come May.
