Leeds United are still looking for a replacement for Garry Monk.
According to The Daily Mirror, David Moyes could be set to take over from Gordon Strachan as Scotland boss in the coming days, and that could leave Leeds United able to make a move for their former player.
Moyes will reportedly take over from Strachan, if Scotland lose their World Cup qualifying match against England on Saturday.
Strachan is a Leeds legend, after representing the club for six years during his playing days.
And few managerial appointments would have the same connection with the Elland Road crowd as Strachan would.
Leeds are still on the hunt for a new boss, following Garry Monk’s resignation.
It is totally unclear who Leeds will go for next, but if Strachan does become available – he will surely be instated as a potential candidate.
The question mark over Strachan will be whether he has the managerial nous to guide Leeds.
The Scot has struggled in his last two jobs, with Middlesbrough and Scotland.
However, Strachan would almost certainly be given time from the Leeds supporters and the 60-year-old boss could be the ideal man to take over from Monk.
