Leeds United have been linked to Matej Vydra throughout the summer.

Leeds United took a step back from their pursuit of Matej Vydra this week when they moved to sign Patrick Bamford.
Bamford signed for £7 million, a fee Leeds look set to instantly recoup by selling Ronaldo Vieira, with SkySports reporting they will receive £6.2 million.
This would negate Leeds’ outlay on Bamford, leaving the only other permanent spend this summer the £3 million spent on signing Barry Douglas from Wolves.
This would leave money left for Leeds to make one last splash and finally land Derby forward Vydra.

Vydra and Bamford can play together, with the Derby man’s best position as a number 10.
Throughout Leeds’ pursuit of Vydra, questions have remained over who would lead the line. The club now have the answer with Bamford.
Vydra faces an uncertain future despite finishing last season as Championship top scorer.
Derby’s need to comply with financial fair play regulations have left the Rams seeking to cash in, and Vydra has not played in a single pre-season game.
Leeds also need to add a centre-back, but they could still address this with a loan from a Premier League side.
A strike force of Vydra and Bamford is a tantalising one, and a pairing which could fire the Whites to promotion.
