Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani has been touted as the potential saviour of the Serie B outfit.

While Leeds fans are still waiting for the Whites’ summer to really ignite, it appears that Andrea Radrizzani could soon have more plates to spin with a report from Italian outlet ANSA linking the Leeds chief with a potential investment in Serie B side Bari.
The report suggests that Bari need to raise €3 million to finalise their registration to compete in the second tier next term, and Radrizzani has been touted as one of the men that may potentially be interested in the opportunity.
It remains to be seen if Radrizzani – who only finalised his takeover of Leeds last year – has any interest in investing in Bari, but if he does, perhaps it would not be a huge surprise if the Whites decided to take a look at their midfielder Liam Henderson.
At the turn of the year, Henderson was on Celtic’s books and seemingly in danger of seeing his career stagnate despite often impressing when given an opportunity for the Hoops’ first-team.

His move to Bari seemed to be met with a sense of acceptance amongst the Parkhead faithful with Brendan Rodgers already boasting a cluster of excellent midfield options. But just a handful of months later, it appears to have been a big mistake to let the 22-year-old leave.
Henderson has been superb for Bari, and has already found himself linked with a move to Serie A this summer. Tuttomercatoweb suggests that Fiorentina are keen on the youngster, while The Scottish Sun reported that Parma are also interested.

It is a remarkable rise for Henderson, and perhaps Radrizzani should take note if he does decide to invest in the club. Leeds already have some very good midfield options, but Henderson is showing signs that suggest that he could become a very special player indeed.
And if Radrizzani does help Bari out, perhaps he should consider suggesting Henderson for Leeds’ wishlist for either this or a future window in the hope that the favour can be returned and the Whites can beat the Serie A sides interested in bagging his signature.
