The Tottenham Hotspur youngster is in the squad for their Champions League match this evening.

Tottenham Hotspur fans look set to see another talented teenager make his first-team breakthrough later today, with 19-year-old forward Kazaiah Sterling included in the match day squad for Spurs’ Champions League group match against APOEL Nicosia.
With Tottenham already securing top spot, the dead rubber allows their manager Mauricio Pochettino to give some of the club’s next generation a run-out, and Sterling will be hoping to do something £15million summer signing Fernando Llorente has not managed so far this season and score a goal.
The Spaniard was signed off the back of a 15-goal haul for Swansea City in the previous campaign, yet he has struggled to make an impact in North London and one wonders if Sterling could step up and show Llorente how it is done.

With the 32-year-old yet to find his best form, there could be a chance for Sterling to stake a claim of his own ahead of the busy festive fixtures, and it will be interesting to see what he makes of any chance that comes his way.
Llorente is likely to start the match, and he will also be hoping to break his duck against the Cypriot side. The issue comes if he fails and Sterling comes off the bench to act as the hero.
It would be a great night for him and Tottenham’s supporters, but it would not say much for Llorente’s ability to act as an effective Plan B.
