Villa manager Dean Smith has told the club’s official Twitter page that Grealish will not play against Liverpool today.
Liverpool will take on Villa at Anfield in the Premier League this afternoon.
The attacking midfielder will miss two weeks due to what has been reported a shin injury.
Grealish has been on the sidelines with a shin injury for a while and has not played in Villa’s last seven Premier League games and also missed England’s recent matches, as reported by The Sun.
According to WhoScored, the England international has scored six goals and provided 10 assists in 22 Premier League games for Villa so far this season.
The Villans are still in the race for the European places in the Premier League table this season, but without the 25-year-old, who can also operate as a winger, it is going to be hard.
