Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers could do a lot worse than signing the 33-year-old former Premier League man.

Glasgow Rangers have been without a manager for the past month following Pedro Caixinha’s dismissal, with Graeme Murty taking charge of the team on a caretaker basis at the moment.
Ange Postecoglou resigned as Australia boss yesterday in a move which is bound to enhance rumours about a move to Rangers for him.
Derek McInnes and Alex McLeish have been linked with the position but Postecoglou is, according to a report from ESPN last week, also interested in succeeding Caixinha.

Should he arrive at Ibrox then he would surely have one eye on a bit of January business and he could do a lot worse than consider bringing in a player he knows very well.
Mile Jedinak, who played under the 52-year-old for four years with Australia’s national team, does not appear to have a big role at Villa this season, starting just one Championship game.

With a reduced role, you wonder if he could be tempted to leave in January and it is not unthinkable that he would consider a move up North to rejoin his former manager in Glasgow.
Rangers could certainly do with a midfielder of that talent, experience and leadership.
