Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting after hearing Adam Forshaw has picked up yet another injury.
The midfielder had been out for the best part of two years before his return for the U23s last week, but sadly, he couldn’t make it through that game unscathed.
Marcelo Bielsa confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Forshaw had picked up a muscle strain and that there’s no timescale on when he’ll be back.
Luckily, a muscle strain shouldn’t be too serious, and Forshaw shouldn’t be facing yet another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
However, you can never second guess these things, especially when you consider the midfielder’s previous problems.
Understandably, Leeds fans were gutted to hear this, if there’s any player in the Leeds squad who deserves a bit of luck it’s Forshaw, and it’s a real shame to see him struck down by another injury.
