Should Harry Redknapp try to persuade his former Tottenham captain to sign for Birmingham City?
Harry Redknapp
Birmingham City announced this morning that Harry Redknapp has been appointed as manager until the rest of the season. The BBC reported.
Redknapp has three games to try and help the Blues avoid relegation after Gianfranco Zola’s terrible spell, with the Blues in 20th place.
Fairly or not, Redknapp is known for his wheeling and dealing. With the transfer window closed, opportunities are limited, but there is one old face who he would be clever to try and persuade to sign.
Redknapp’s former Tottenham Hotspur captain Robbie Keane is a free agent after his LA Galaxy contract expired.

Keane has insisted he is open to another challenge, but has remained out of the game in 2017 despite his incredible goalscoring record.
The Irishman was leading the line for his country at Euro 2016 just last summer, and might just be tempted by a commitment free three game deal for Birmingham.
Keane would be just the type of player who could give Birmingham a big lift, while Redknapp would get a player who he trusts and knows well.
The striker has most recently been keeping fit by training with Shamrock Rovers, the Irish Independent reported, suggesting he will be ready if called upon.
If anybody can persuade him to make the move then it is Harry Redknapp, who can show he has one more big deal left in him as well as potentially a win or two.
