Everton defender Ramiro Funes-Mori has finally returned from injury.

Everton defender Ramiro Funes Mori has finally returned from a long-term knee injury and is “ready to play” after undergoing a strenuous training regime in Dubai – but could he be handed an instant return to the starting eleven.
The 26-year-old has failed to feature at senior level for almost a year after suffering a knee problem while on international duty with Argentina, but is now eyeing a return after overcoming the problem after surgery.
The former River Plate defender confirmed that he is ready for action on Instagram, after featuring twice for David Unsworth’s second string in a 4-0 defeat against Arsenal and a 1-0 triumph over Barnsley.

But could the defender be set for a start against Watford on Saturday evening, as the Toffees travel to Hertfordshire to face the Hornets at Vicarage Road.
January loan signing Eliaquim Mangala has suffered a long-term injury less than a month into his Goodison Park career and it could see him miss the rest of the 2017-18 campaign.

With question marks raised over Ashley Williams, Michael Keane and Mason Holgate’s performances, could Allardyce look to replace Mangala by treating Funes Mori’s return like another new defensive signing?
Funes Mori will certainly be up for the challenge, as he looks to both impress Allardyce and Argentina manager Jorge Sampaoli ahead of this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
