Could Diafra Sakho sale raise funds to enable West Ham United to sign Daniel Sturridge?

West Ham United have been heavily linked with Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge.

According to the Telegraph, Liverpool are only looking to sell Daniel Sturridge this month, and it could take a sizeable offer to get hold of the striker.

Liverpool are said to only be willing to part ways with Sturridge if they receive an offer ‘reflective of his value’.

The Reds are likely to believe Sturridge is worth a considerable amount, given his ability and reputation in the game.

Sturridge is a proven England international and a frequent scorer at Premier League level.

At the moment, West Ham United are said to be one of the sides looking at Sturridge by ESPN.

And West Ham may just have the money to achieve such a deal, if they do sell Diafra Sakho to Crystal Palace.

West Ham are set to receive £10 million for Sakho, according to the Daily Mail, and those added funds are sure to increase David Moyes’ transfer budget.

West Ham may now have the money to go out and snap up Sturridge, and the Liverpool forward would surely be a great addition to Moyes’ side, as they look to battle against the drop.
