Tottenham Hotspur made a bid for the Leicester City winger back in 2017, but he seems to have fallen off Mauricio Pochettino’s radar now.

It, perhaps, shows the trajectory that Demarai Gray’s career has taken in recent years, that Tottenham Hotspur’s bid for him in 2017 has practically been forgotten about.
Gray hasn’t developed at the pace Leicester or England were hoping in the past two seasons, and remains a rotational option at the King Power Stadium.
Gray is now 22, and is under pressure to start delivering on the obvious talent that he has, but he now has a great chance to remind Tottenham of why they wanted him in the first place.
Gray has been named in England under-21’s squad for the European Championships, and Tottenham scouts are sure to have a close eye on the tournament.
Gray possesses a lot of the qualities that Mauricio Pochettino is looking for this summer.

The Leicester man has pace, is versatile enough to play right across the front-line, and clearly has a great deal of potential.
Gray may still need to refine certain areas of his game before he becomes the complete package.
But the £20 million (Daily Mail) attacker was on Tottenham’s radar for a reason just two years ago, and if he can put together some strong performances for England in the coming weeks, it would not be entirely surprising to see Spurs rekindle their interest this summer.
