West Bromwich Albion must do without Craig Dawson for the much of the remainder of 2017 due to injury.

According to the Daily Mail, both West Brom and Leicester were interested in signing Bacary Sagna, following his release by City in June.

Though 34, the Frenchman can play anywhere across the back four if required, and would be a useful addition if only in the short term.

If they do, they may have to move fast, however, with Wolfsburg strongly linked with a move for Sagna this week – although, at the time of writing, nothing has been confirmed.
