Sunderland are reportedly willing to sell Patrick Van Aanholt to Crystal Palace for £10 million.
According to a report in The Daily Mail, Sunderland could be about to allow Patrick Van Aanholt to leave the Stadium of Light for £10 million.
Crystal Palace are reportedly keen to sign the left-back, and Sunderland are open to offers.
David Moyes will be given whatever transfer money he can make this month to reinvest into his squad.

While Moyes’ desire to bring in additions is understandable, if Sunderland let Van Aanholt go for £10 million, they appear to be getting a poor deal.
The Black Cats would need to invest in singing a left-back, and they would be hard pressed to find someone of similar quality as Van Aanholt for less money.

The talk is that Norwich City’s Robbie Brady will cost £13 million to buy in January, while Jeffrey Schlupp moved from Leicester City to Palace for £12 million earlier this month.
There may be some doubts about Van Aanholt’s defensive ability, but he is arguably a better left-back than either Brady or Schlupp – and the pair both cost more than what Sunderland are asking for the Dutch full-back.
Van Aanholt has contributed seven goals in the last season and a half, and finding a left-back who offers them as much going forward, on the cheap, will be very difficult.
It leaves Moyes in a difficult situation. His desire to want to make additions is obvious, and it seems that he will have to offload players if he is to bring any in.
However, letting Van Aanholt go looks likely to be a mistake, as Sunderland simply cannot afford to weaken their starting line-up any more, given their current position in the Premier League table.
