Leeds United striker Chris Wood has been linked with a £20 million move away from Elland Road.
According to The Sun, Leeds United could lose Chris Wood this summer.
A host of Premier League clubs are chasing Wood, who is valued at close to £20 million.
Wood rattled in 30 goals for Leeds last campaign, and his departure would be a major blow for the Whites.
However, the huge amount of funds Wood’s sale would generate for Leeds, could see an unlikely reunion become an option.
When Ross McCormack left Leeds back in 2014, it was expected that the striker would push on even further.
McCormack had scored 28 goals in his final Championship season at Leeds.
However, since departing Elland Road, McCormack has struggled to find form.
A positive first season at Fulham was never backed up, and in recent times the Scottish international has gone completely off the boil.
McCormack’s last season, when he spent time with both Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, was absolutely awful and his career has now completely stalled.
However, Leeds know about the quality McCormack possesses. And if they could get him back to form, then he would be a wonderful addition for the Whites.
Of course, as things stand, Leeds would be unlikely to be able to afford McCormack.
But if they do sell Wood the injection of cash could be used to bring McCormack back to Elland Road, in a move which would suit all parties.
