The rumoured Celtic target appears to have landed himself in hot water with current employers, Dundee.

Could Celtic profit from Scott Bain’s situation?
The Dundee goalkeeper was dropped for Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Hibernian, with his manager Neil McCann later confirming via the Evening Telegraph that a disciplinary process is underway.
Whatever’s gone on, it’s hard to imagine there’s a future for Bain at Dens Park, with less than two months left until he is free to talk to other clubs regarding a summer move.
And after being credited with interest in the 25-year-old in February [Daily Record], it’s plausible that Celtic could be one of those planning to pounce.

As doubts grow over Craig Gordon’s ability, a new goalkeeper could well be on the Bhoys’ radar in January and beyond – especially with Dorus De Vries’ contract also set to expire next summer.
And even if it’s only as number two to a more high profile arrival, Bain – a veteran of more than 100 Premiership appearances – could be worth the gamble on a free.
Should Celtic take another look at Bain after this week’s development?
