Josh Onomah is arguably facing a crucial season in his Tottenham Hotspur career, especially now that Bradley Dack is apparently on Spurs’ radar.

It has been reported by the London Evening Standard that Spurs are monitoring Blackburn Rovers’ Bradley Dack ahead of the January transfer window following his stunning start to the season.

The Ewood Park talisman inspired their promotion charge last year and has wasted little time making his mark in the Championship, scoring six times in nine games for Tony Mowbray’s side.

The Evening Standard is now reporting that the 24-year-old is on Mauricio Pochettino’s radar heading into the winter window. A Premier League move appears inevitable at some stage if Blackburn are not promoted, but one player in Spurs’ squad may well be disappointed if his club are the ones who win the race for the attacking midfielder’s signature.

Josh Onomah appears to be facing something of a make or break season in his Tottenham career. The England under-21 international is showing promise at Sheffield Wednesday, but arguably needs a brilliant campaign after a mixed year with Aston Villa last term.

Onomah struggled to hold down a spot in the Villans’ side and was overshadowed by a number of his teammates as the club came within touching distance of securing promotion.

He has provided assists in his last two games for the Owls, but arguably needs to do a lot more if he hopes to prove a point to Pochettino while he is away, especially now that Dack is being considered.

With the pair playing in the same division and often in similar roles – though Onomah seems to have been deployed slightly deeper by Jos Luhukay – it is perhaps much easier for Pochettino to make a decision on whether Tottenham need to bring Dack in.

Considering that Spurs could look to try and sign Dack in January, it would appear that Onomah could need to step his game up as quickly as possible to prove that he still could realise his potential with Tottenham.
