The Barcelona forward would be a superb addition to the Newcastle United squad.
Magpies boss Rafa Benitez will be looking to bolster his attacking options at St James’ Park this month, in an effort to provide more competition for Dwight Gayle, who they became far too reliant on last season.
Despite the fact that Newcastle have only just been promoted to the Premier League, they still are an attractive prospect for any potential signings, what with Benitez’ highly revered reputation within the game.
With this in mind, the Spaniard should attempt a bold move for Barcelona’s Paco Alcacer this summer.

The 23-year-old has endured a nightmare since making the switch from Valencia to the Camp Nou last summer, barely featuring for the Spanish giants, making just six La Liga starts last term.
It is hard to imagine a scenario where he is given more game-time next season, with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar still ahead of him in the pecking order at Barca.
And Rafa could take advantage of that fact by making a move for the lively forward this summer.
Alcacer is technically brilliant, and possesses and incredible understanding of the game, which more than makes up for his lack of pace.
His nouse in guile in and around the penalty box could prove to be a huge asset to the Toon next season, as they face far more well-drilled defences than they would have throughout the duration of their campaign in the Championship last term.
Whilst a move from Barcelona to Newcastle could be perceived as a massive step backwards for the Spaniard, it could in fact work out to be a huge positive for his career, in the sense that he will receive regular first-team football in arguably the most competitive league in the world.
With the Spanish giants getting ready to splash some serious cash this summer, they may very well be ready to listen to offers for the 23-year-old.
And if Benitez manages to bring Alcacer to Tyneside this summer, it could turn out to be one heck of a signing.
