Dilan Markaday scored once again for Tottenham’s U23s on Friday evening, and understandably, Tottenham fans have been getting a bit carried away about the 20-year-old.

The winger has been an absolute revelation at youth level this season. He’s now scored 11 goals in 12 PL2 appearances this term, while he’s also grabbed four further assists.

The sky is seemingly the limit for this young man, and it’s fair to say that the Tottenham fanbase are very excited about this youngster.

Fans are already clamouring for him to get a first-team chance, while one supporter even went as far as to tip him to become as good as Pele.

To be honest, it’s hard to see Markanday becoming as good as Pele. After all, the Brazilian was netting World Cup hat-tricks at the age of 17, while Markanday is still playing U23 football at the age of 20, but the fact that one fan even had the audacity to make such a comparison shows just how brilliant this young man is.

Here’s what Spurs supporters have been saying on social media…
