Oxford could be on his way out of West Ham United for £6 million, according to reports.
West Ham United supporters are reacting to reports which claim Hammers defender Reece Oxford could be sold to Borussia Monchengladbach in January.
According to the Sun, West Ham are prepared to sell the teenager for £6 million, after the German side expressed a desire to keep him beyond the end of his season-long loan spell.
And it is claimed Irons boss David Moyes will not stand in their way, despite having not yet worked with Oxford since his appointment in November.
Oxford was regarded as one of English football’s brightest prospects after his first team breakthrough at the age of 16 and Gladbach’s league rivals, RB Leipzig, are said to have offered £10 million for the defender two years ago.
While his progress has slowed since then, £6 million could still prove a bargain if Oxford is able to reach his potential in Germany.
And it seems many West Ham fans are not convinced they should part with the academy product for good.
