Alan Shearer has predicted Arsenal’s squad to become dangerous next season following their latest Premier League win against Leicester City.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, the English football legend was left impressed by Arsenal’s performance against the Foxes, with Shearer noting just how young Mikel Arteta’s side are.

Arsenal have consistently had the youngster starting XI in the Premier League this season, and although it was Alexandre Lacazette and Thomas Partey who scored the goals this weekend, the young guns were again in top form.
24-year-old Ben White was imperious in the defence, whilst Martin Odegaard ran the show in what was one of the Norwegian’s best performances to date in an Arsenal shirt.
Indeed, Arsenal are heading in the right direction, with the Gunners sat in fourth with three games in hand over Manchester United in fifth. And for Shearer, returning to the UEFA Champions League could see the north London side become dangerous once again.
The pundit said: “They’re a very young squad – the youngest in the Premier League, so there’s only one way Arsenal are going. If they can get into that top-four position and get two or three big hitters in, they could be dangerous next season.”
Arsenal fans should be excited by Shearer’s latest praise

Arsenal’s young squad and Arteta’s insistence on continuing to add to this promising group has created a positive atmosphere around the north London side for the first time in years, and Shearer’s praise should excite supporters.
After all, Arsenal look set to spend big again this summer, and if the Gunners can add a prolific goalscorer and another quality central midfielder to this group, the Gunners could become one of the top clubs in the Premier League once again.
