Everton have been linked with the Werder Bremen forward.

According to the print edition of Sport Bild (31/05/2017) and later reported online by Weser Kurier, Everton are considering a summer bid for German international Max Kruse, and considering he is allegedly available for just £10.4million, a move is surely a no-brainer for the Toffees.
It remains to be seen if Everton will be able to call on Romelu Lukaku again next season, but even if the Belgian international does remain at Goodison Park, the Toffees need more goal-scoring options to ensure they continue to head in the right direction.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has already proved adept in the transfer market and this summer the club’s fans will be hoping he continues that trend, with the next few months likely to be huge in terms of his legacy on Merseyside.
Kruse is a natural goal-scorer who, despite being 29, has just come off a great individual campaign for Bremen, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists in only 23 Bundesliga matches.

His return would have been even better if he had not missed the first 10 games of the season through injury but he returned to play all but one of the next 24 matches and despite having two years remaining on his contract, the Everton target is said to have a £10.4million release clause.
It is rare to find proven goal-scorers for that kind of money these days, especially ones with caps into double-figures for Germany, so what are Everton waiting for? Kruse could be exactly the kind of savvy signing they need to maintain their impressive momentum.
