Linked with Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid, is Christian Eriksen’s agent talking up his client to get a new contract at Tottenham?

The agent of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has been talking up the interest in his client from around Europe.
Eriksen has been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent times and Martin Scoots has now spoken publicly about it.

“I don’t comment on rumours much,” Scoots was quoted by the Mirror. “But when clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are mentioned, it’s always a compliment.
“Since Christian was 14-years-old, big clubs have shown interest. The first were Chelsea, AC Milan and Barcelona, since then there has been no transfer window without any offer or interest.”
It may come as a worry to Spurs fans that one of their best players is being linked with an exit from the club, but could Scoots has another agenda with these comments?

After all, it was only last month that the Sun were reporting that Eriksen wanted to sign another contract extension with the North Londoners.
This is despite the fact that it was only in September 2016 that the Denmark international penned a new deal that will see him stay with Tottenham until 2020.
The Daily Mail reports that Eriksen currently earns around £70,000-a-week but having once again been in great form will be seeking improved terms – especially with talk of joining Barca, United, or Madrid.
