Glasgow Rangers striker Andrew Dallas must come into contention to make his first senior appearance for the Ibrox side this weekend.

With Umar Sadiq now seemingly back to being out of favour, the Gers only have Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty in the senior side. It is probably no surprise therefore, that Gerrard has a striker on his wishlist next month.
But perhaps Gerrard may not actually need to go out and spend any money on a forward in January, especially as he must surely consider a new option this weekend.
Morelos is suspended for Sunday’s game. That is likely to leave Lafferty getting the chance to make a rare start following his summer move, and perhaps Andrew Dallas will get the opportunity to step into the squad.

Dallas is enjoying a remarkable season with Graeme Murty’s youngsters, and issued another reminder to Gerrard this week by scoring a hat-trick in the 5-0 win over Kilmarnock.
Morelos’ suspension makes Sunday the perfect fixture to promote Dallas to the bench. And if Rangers take a commanding lead at any stage, then perhaps the 19-year-old can get out onto the pitch with the crucial Europa League clash with Rapid Vienna coming just a few days later.
And if Dallas can make an impact for the first-team if he does get a chance, perhaps he could end up saving Rangers a lot of money when the January window opens.
