Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers could face a fight to retain Alfredo Morelos’s services.

Rangers’ transfer window is already well underway.
Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie will be moving to Auchenhowie this summer, while Greg Stewart is expected to join them shortly.
But there might also be outgoings at Rangers and the spotlight will shine bright on Alfredo Morelos more than anyone else at Ibrox over the coming months.
Morelos, who scored 30 goals for the Gers last season, was linked to Marseille earlier this month [Marca], and the French club’s new managerial appointment may worry Steven Gerrard.
The Ligue 1 side hired Andre Villas-Boas as their new head coach today and the Portuguese won’t have taken the job without guarantees that their was money to spend.
Florian Thauvin, a winger, was their top goalscorer last term with 13. They badly need a striker and someone of Morelos’s talents would fit the bill.
Will Villas-Boas go for him? Time will tell, but if they do, it’s a concern. Moussa Dembele’s first season in France was a major success and, interestingly, the former Celtic star’s best season in Scotland is the same as the Rangers man’s – 30 goals.
The fiery Colombian might feel tempted to go if Villas-Boas picks up the phone.
